Heating district Unit 1 Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant
Main Contractor : ATC-E
Location: Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, Romania
Complete automation of the heating district heating point, related to Unit 1, was carried out. The role of automation is to prepare the primary thermal agent that is transmitted to the town of Cernavoda, from the common steam bar of the Nuclear Electrica complex.
The automation system meets nuclear safety standards, being redundant: PLC controller – S7-400H, redundant WinCC servers, redundant Profibus communication, double redundant Profinet communication

Schaeffler
Inline Bearing Roundness Measuring System
Main Contractor : ATC-E
Location: Brasov, Romania
The automation system was designed to increase the quality control of the bearings produced for the rail industry. Each bearing will have an optical measure of roundness and roughness, with a precision of 1 micron. The whole system will generate quality control sheets for each analyzed benchmark, otherwise the quality of the products will have full traceability.
Arcelor Mital
Blast Furnace no 5 Automation Control System
Main Contractor : ATC-E
Location: Romania
The automation project was a complex one and aimed at the management of metal production, from metal ore. The supply limit of the programmable automaton was the furnace temperature monitoring and the ore agglomeration system. Over 2000 temperature sensors were used and an efficient solution was implemented for the agglomeration part, using a single S120 frequency converter that manages 8 agglomeration bands.

OMV Petrom
Water injection pumps – automation control system
Main Contractor : ATC-E
Location: Poieni, Romania
Complete automation of the technological water injection system in the crude oil deposit was achieved. The automation maintained a constant water flow, a constant pressure, which allowed the extraction of crude oil. The old cylinder pumps were replaced with centrifugal pumps. The purpose of the automation system was to provide a closed-loop control application for water injection at OMV-Petrom Depozit 9 Poieni. The use of EX converters determined the injection of water into the crust, with variable flow in complete safety.
